The Småland Magical Forest has been around for a really long time (1000+ years!) and we have been welcoming kids as Smålish citizens for almost 5 years since 2007. It’s time to make it even better for the years to come.

We’ll start with a hardware upgrade in the Magical Forest to improve the Top Secret Citizen Database. Along with the upgrade are a few changes that will start from 5 Apr 2012.

		Your Smålish citizenship will now expire at the end of your 11th birthday month, instead of on the day of your 11th birthday. For example, if you turn 11 years old on 1 April 2012, your citizenship will expire on 30 April 2012.
		Your dållars will now expire every 2 years, on 31 Dec. E.g. dållars earned between 1 Jan – 31 Dec 2012 will expire on 31 Dec 2014. Your existing Smålish dållars balance as at 5 Apr 2012 will expire on 31 Dec 2014, or the last day of your 11th birthday month, whichever is earlier.
		There's a new and fun way to recycle! Earn green credits each time you bring newspapers for our paper porridge. 5kg of newspapers = 1 green credit. Accumulate your green credits and convert them into Smålish dållars.

You will receive your new smålish passport by end Mar 2012. The letter will contain more information and you can start using your new passport at the IKEA stores from 5 Apr 2012.
